OBD Code C1194 DSC continuous operation fault What’s mean?
OBD2 Code C1194 Definition:
? The PCM receives DSC operation signals from DSC CM while the engine switch is turned to the ON position. If the PCM receives DSC operation signals for longer than the specified time, the PCM determines that the DSC is operating continuously. Note ? The DSC CM stops operating itself for protection heat to the solenoid and/or motor (built in DSC HU) if the DSC operates for a long time.

No | Inspect the ABS wheel speed sensor, sensor rotor and related wiring harnesses. Service as necessary. Then go to Step 7. | ||

???Access the following combined sensors (DSC) related PIDs using the M-MDS.

No | Inspect the combined sensor and related wiring harnesses. Service as necessary. Then go to Step 7. | ||

INSPECT WHERe MALFUNCTION IS IN STEERING ANGLE SIGNAL OR ELSEWHERe
???Access the following steering angle sensor (DSC) related PID using the M-MDS.

No | Inspect the steering angle sensor and related wiring harnesses. Service if necessary. Then go to the next step. | ||
7 | VERIFY THAT DTC C1194 TROUBLESHOOTING IS COMPLETED ???Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. ???Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the M-MDS. ???Run the vehicle under the FREEZE frame DATA stored condition. ???Is the same DTC present? | Yes | Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. |
No | Go to the next step. | ||
